Yesterday Etel was convicted of assaulting a police officer after she attempted to interfere with a lawful ICE arrest in May. Over the weekend the Plymouth Police Department announced that Officer Samantha Perline was placed on unpaid leave and was under investigation by the State Police. It was not disclosed why.
